I know you thought this was a Halloween post, but it’s not.
Benjamin has a proven tactic for getting what he wants. Try to imagine him telling me this at 12:30 am in a very sweet voice with a hint of whine.
We got a dog.
A puppy, to be precise.
Meet Sasha the Australian shepherd (#sashtheaussie). She is three months old and a joy – as well as a keep-things-picked-up-motivator.
And here’s a comic about Sasha:
I loved Finding Dory and the fact that there were sea otters in it! Ever since we watched the movie, Ben has been asking for “cuddle parties” or “snuggle parties.” But apparently kisses are not invited.
Our good friends got married recently, and our whole family got to attend the wedding. It was their second wedding that they’ve been to, but the first wedding where we danced. Our boys had a blast!
Steve put on his t-shirt that says “HE GONE” on it, and as Benjamin watched, he formulated an idea.
Matthew cracks us up with his turns of phrase (complete with shooting hand motion).
Benjamin still has a lot of toddler-pronunciation in his vocabulary. He still says “de” instead of “the,” and “tookie” instead of “cookie.” This comic illustrates how he pronounces “California.”
