After a while, Matthew was calling Anda “Knock-Knock” so much that he forgot her name. Benjamin remembered her name, though. Well, sort of.
See Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3.
Matthew was really perplexed as to why Anda drove up to to the church camp-out with our friends Meg and Alex.
See Part 1 and Part 2.
After discovering Anda’s amazing knock-knock jokes, Matthew started yelling “KNOCK KNOCK!!!!” every time he saw her.
Our friends Brandt and Anda joined the same gym, which means that our kids (especially Matthew) are getting to know Anda and discovering her formerly hidden talent of telling knock-knock jokes (they already knew Brandt because he’s a fellow youth leader).
You could say that Anda knock-knocked his socks off.
Benjamin’s philosophy is to celebrate all the small victories. (Reference his drinking milk incident.)
Homeschooling Matthew is actually more like homeschooling all three boys.
Matthew was still extremely enthusiastic about homeschool after the first day.
We’ve started homeschooling Matthew this year (Steven will be attending public school for second grade). He is extremely excited to learn and extended his school day by about two hours because he kept wanting to do more work!
Benjamin looked really sad when he got to the “end” of the song.
But I don’t understand how he forgot the ABC’s because this was his bedtime song of choice for about two years.
We had our last frisbee Monday with the youth group, and as usual, went to Rite Aid to get ice cream afterwards. Our friend Brian asked Benjamin what kind of ice cream he was going to get.
