Lost Raggy

It finally happened. After surviving three out-of-state trips, including the incident of a daring raggy rescue involving a friend’s roommate who lived in Modesto driving across town to the In-n-Out there to claim a dropped raggy and delivering it to us the next day in Davis — Matthew’s precious raggy has been misplaced — presumably somewhere in our house or on our property, or perhaps at Grandma and Grandpa’s, but we haven’t seen the dirty limp thing for a few weeks now. Every night, the pain is experienced afresh by Matthew. And the rest of us.
